Superfast^® Aerosol is an insecticide aerosol developed for the control of both flying and crawling insects. The formulation contains higher inclusion rates of insecticide than aerosols found in supermarkets thereby offering improved efficacy.

This aerosol comes complete with a 360ºvalve and nozzle extension. This allows continuous dispensing of product at any angle and allows for easy application to crack and crevise treatment and other hard to reach places.

Superfast^® aerosol has excellent knockdown and kill properties and has been scientifically tested and proven to control cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, ants, fleas, fishmoths and crickets.

Superfast^® aerosol contains three highly active photolabile pyrethroids, synergized by Piperonyl Butoxide.

The d-phenothrin (kill), d-trans allethrin and d-tetramethrin (knockdown) active ingredients have been shown to have excellent flushing properties and are recommended for cracks and crevice treatments.

Piperonyl Butoxide (synergist) increases the activity of the pyrethroids and plays a vital role in insect resistance management.

Areas of use:

Superfast^® aerosol can be used use in and around the home, in commercial and industrial buildings, in camp sites and caravans where flying and crawling insects pests are a nuisance. The product is a contact spray with good flushing properties and is used by professional Pest Control Operators.

Space Spray:

For the treatment of an average size room close windows and doors and spray a 5-8 second burst of the Wefco Active^® DIK aerosol.
– Commence spraying from the furthest part of the room from the exit.
– Holding the can, spray in a sweeping motion whilst moving towards the exit.
– Vacate room for 15 minutes then ventilate for 15 minutes before entering.

Contact Spray:

For flying and crawling insects spray a 1-2 second burst directly at the target.

For fleas, spray carpets and the top and underside of mats and rugs.

Flushing:

This aerosol is a useful tool for professional Pest Control and QC staff when conducting site surveys and audits. The flushing characteristic allows the technician/operator to identify the insect pest/s and plan a successful integrated pest management programme.

Spray a 1-2 second burst into cracks, crevices, cupboards, drawers, under sinks and any other potential insect harbourages.

The photolabile pyrethroids in this formulation are known to cause hyperactivity. The resulting irritation drives the insect out of their hiding places, increasing the pick-up of a lethal dose.

If used in conjunction with a surface spray it is advisable to apply the residual surface sprays prior to any space or crack treatment.
